Get ready for going outside with a series of 3 workouts designed so any turbo user can join, and to improve your fitness at your own pace.
What you need…
The ability to change your resistance electronically or manually (or if you’re keen and on rollers, then gears) within arms reach!
Water bottle
A towel
A window or fan
The ability to record your workout but not neccesary
If you are using a smart trainer that comes with an app. that can control and monitor your outputs, this should also be able to record your workout.
For example you can use the Wahoo app. to control your turbo trainer, and has sensors such as Cadence, Speed and Power. If you are using on your smartphone, you should be able to use an elastic band to attach to your usual computer mount.
NB. You can use LEVELS setting for controlling resistance, however be aware that this reacts slower the RESISTANCE function itself.
If you aren’t using gears as resistance, set your front chainring to the smaller ring and rear cassette to a mid to low gear.
When at 20/25% resistance you should be able to spin at a medium cadence of 85-90rpm without feeling like you’re pushing too hard or sprinting.
